1. Scope
This policy governs the cancellation of Jobs and of accepted Workers before, during, and after an agreement is reached, as well as the treatment of funds held in escrow. This policy forms part of, and is referred to in, the Terms & Conditions (Article 9). Cancellations are made through the features provided on the Platform.
2. Before a Worker Is Accepted
- A Poster may close or delete a Job that has not yet been assigned, without consequence.
- A Worker may withdraw an offer or application that has not yet been accepted, without consequence.
- Where no funds are being held, there are no financial implications.
3. After a Worker Is Accepted, Before the Job Starts
At this stage the payment is already held in escrow, but the Job has not yet been carried out.
- The Poster cancels the Job, or cancels the acceptance of a particular Worker — the funds held are returned in full to the Poster, and the slot reopens.
- The Worker withdraws before starting — permitted; the Poster is notified and the slot reopens.
- There is currently no financial deduction for cancelling at this stage. However, the action is recorded and may affect your reputation and reliability score (see Section 6).
4. After the Job Has Started
Once a Worker has begun (for example, has checked in or marked the Job as started), the Job cannot simply be cancelled unilaterally. If there is a problem with the outcome or the way the work was carried out, use the Dispute Resolution mechanism set out in Article 11 of the Terms & Conditions. Whether the escrowed funds are released or refunded is determined by the outcome of that dispute.
5. No-Shows and Expired Jobs
- If an accepted Worker does not start the Job before it lapses, their acceptance is released automatically, the Poster is notified, and the corresponding portion of the funds is returned to the Poster.
- A Job whose date has passed with no work started expires automatically, with the funds returned to the Poster.
- A “Butuh Cepat” (urgent, undated) Job remains valid for a set period (for example 24 hours) from posting; after that it expires and the funds are returned.
6. Reputational Consequences of Unreasonable Cancellation
In accordance with Article 9.2 of the Terms & Conditions, We may apply consequences for cancellations that are unreasonable, repeated, or made in bad faith. These include, but are not limited to: entries on your reliability score (for example “no-show”, “withdrew”, “cancelled at short notice”) which may be visible to prospective counterparties; reduced visibility or priority; warnings; and/or restricted access to certain features.
7. Daily-Rate Jobs
For Jobs paid at a daily rate, funds are released progressively for each confirmed working day. A working day with no recorded attendance (no check-in or check-out) by the end of the Job period is treated as not carried out, and the payment for that day is returned to the Poster.
8. Refunds
All refunds are processed through the systems of Our Payment Partner, back to the original source of funds or to the corresponding Wallet Balance. How quickly a refund takes effect may depend on the Payment Partner's processes and the payment channel used.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. This includes the possibility that financial compensation for short-notice cancellations may be introduced in future; any such change will be announced in advance through the Platform and will apply only to transactions made after its effective date.
